Terms of Service

Welcome to AutoStatements, a service operated by Exploding Labs ("we", "our", "us"). By using AutoStatements, you agree to these terms.

1. Use of Service

• You may use AutoStatements only for lawful business purposes.
• You must have permission to connect the Xero organisation you connect to AutoStatements.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of your Xero data, recipient details, statement settings, and outgoing email settings.
• You must not misuse, disrupt, reverse engineer, or attempt to access AutoStatements without authorisation.
• We may suspend or restrict access if we detect abuse, fraud, security risk, or a breach of these terms.

2. Xero Connection and Statements

• AutoStatements connects to Xero using permissions granted by you or an authorised Xero account holder.
• AutoStatements reads Xero data needed to prepare and send outstanding and activity customer statements.
• AutoStatements does not create, edit, delete, approve, or reconcile transactions in Xero.
• You are responsible for reviewing statement content, recipients, schedules, and settings before relying on them.
• You can revoke AutoStatements' access from within Xero at any time.

3. Accounts, Billing, and Changes

• Current pricing, trial, billing, and cancellation details are shown before you are charged.
• Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider. We do not store full card numbers.
• We may update, change, or discontinue parts of AutoStatements from time to time.

4. Data

• You retain ownership of your business data.
• You give us permission to process your data only as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve AutoStatements.
• We do not sell your data.
• Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Intellectual Property

AutoStatements, including its software, design, and content, is owned by Exploding Labs or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, redistribute, or create competing services from AutoStatements except as allowed by law or with our permission.

6. Availability and Delivery

We work to keep AutoStatements reliable, but we do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every statement will be delivered. Xero availability, email delivery systems, recipient mailboxes, network issues, incorrect settings, and third-party services can affect whether a statement is sent or received.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, AutoStatements is provided "as is" and without warranties. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or loss-of-profit damages, or for loss of data, business interruption, failed delivery, delayed delivery, or incorrect statements arising from your use of AutoStatements.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any right, guarantee, or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted, or modified.

8. Termination

You may stop using AutoStatements at any time and revoke access in Xero. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, create security or operational risk, or use the service unlawfully.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. The courts of Victoria, Australia have jurisdiction over disputes relating to these terms.
